As a Board-Certified Functional Health Coach, I specialize in helping women navigate the challenges of perimenopause and ADHD. My approach blends my expertise in functional medicine with a deep understanding of the unique struggles women face in midlife. My journey into health coaching started after personally struggling with autoimmune disease and a lack of answers from traditional healthcare. My experience led me to a path of self-discovery and healing, where I became passionate about helping others uncover the root causes of their health challenges. Initially, I focused on working with women who were experiencing hair loss—helping them to restore their hair and confidence by addressing underlying hormonal imbalances, stress, and nutrition. You can still find my courses on hair loss. However, my own personal experience with ADHD in adulthood opened up a whole new chapter. Like many women, I was diagnosed later in life, and I quickly realized how ADHD was influencing not just my health but my whole approach to life. Thanks to my ADHD hyper-focus I undertook additional training in both menopause and ADHD coaching. My goal is to support other women navigating late-diagnosed ADHD, helping them to feel empowered and reclaim their lives through practical, non-medication-based strategies. Through coaching, I support women to gain control over their health, manage their ADHD symptoms, and find practical, sustainable solutions to create lasting change. Whether you're dealing with ADHD, perimenopause, or a combination of both, I offer a supportive, evidence based approach tailored to where you are right now.

FAQs

  • How do I know that this will work for me?

    This course aims to give a wide overview of the causes of hair loss, specifically hair loss caused by the hormonal disruption of perimenopause and menopause. Not all of it will be relevant to your specific situation (thankfully!).
    You have to take the information which resonates with your hair loss pattern and implement the suggested steps.

  • Does this course tell me which supplement will help me to regrow my hair?

    No. There is not one supplement which will address everyone's root cause. This course does not offer a one size fits all approach. Your hair loss is unique to you. Different strategies are offered depending on the issue. Our goal is to get your hormones back in balance to support your hair follicles and hair growth.

  • How is this different from working with a dermatologist or trichologist?

    Most dermatologists and trichologists start on the outside. My protocol works by getting to the root of the problem and identifying your unique triggers. We work on gut health, sleep and stress management. This program is not a short term fix.

  • What if it regrows then I lose it again?

    If that happens you return to the protocol, you have all of the tools that you need to support your hair growth. My clients become very aware of how to manage their personal hair loss triggers.

  • How is Functional Medicine different from the normal/conventional kind?

    FM views us all as being different genetically and biochemically. Your hair loss will not be caused by exactly the same factors as mine. For example, we could each have the same testosterone level and it causes hair loss for me, but not for you. Your body is intelligent, and has the ability to heal. FM aims to get to the bottom of what's causing the problem in the first place. Conventional doctors tend to focus on which drugs/medicines match your symptoms without getting to the bottom of what's causing the problem in the first place.

  • Are you medically trained?

    No. As a Functional Health Coach I'm an expert in behaviour change. I can support you to make the changes that you might find difficult: for example, how to improve your diet to include more protein and fats, how to improve your sleep, create a stress management practice, improve your mental fitness, prioritise your health. I refer out to medically trained professionals for testing as this is outside of a Health Coach's scope of practice.

  • So is this course really Health Coaching?

    Sort of. While the course is pure information and resources you have access to group coaching sessions that you can choose to attend or not. I've created this course to help as many people as possible have access to the info that they need, particularly given the fact that this is a deeply personal issue which impacts directly on our self-confidence.

  • Does this program work for everyone?

    So far it's worked for all of my clients (full disclosure: none have been vegetarian or vegan). That said, they're highly motivated and prepared to do the work. The exception is Frontal Fibrosing (Cicatricial/Scarring) alopecia.
